HTRAQ Readers
The RFTRAQ long range Reader is a high specification, autonomous device for the collection and management of radio frequency based tag data.
All of our many types of Reader are IP Addressable and work in automatic or manual modes, managing one or tens of thousands of tagged assets communities.
Used for:
- Collection of asset tracking and identification data
- Real time location and performance data collection
- Managing the tagged asset population
- Undertaking autonomous decisions based on data collected locally from tagged assets
Features include:
- Full read / write long range tag communication from 1 meter to over 500 meters
- 14 channels within the relevant frequency band (868MHz, 902MHz or 915MHz)
- European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) approved - compliant with October 2006 regulation changes
- Zero collision technology means all data is received without data corruption
- Instant communications with thousands of tags, sending instructions and process inbound tag transmissions simultaneously
- Read throughput of up to 20,000 tags (per reader) at 1,000 tags per second
- Long term persistent storage of thousands of unique Active tag data items
- Zone management with multiple RFID networks in the same location supported without collision
- Data filtering rules can be built into the readers data collection behaviour
- Drop the reader straight into any structured TCP/IP network infrastructure (Wireless, Ethernet or GPRS)
- Remote management and configuration of readers on the network, which includes auto discover utilities to make adding new equipment simple
- Handling complex issues such as jamming, and data protection through encryption
- Handles different tag populations, protecting your tags from external viewing, even from the same hardware
- Remote upgrades of the Reader firmware, and in turn, tag and device firmware
