RFTRAQ's supply chain solutions
RFTRAQ’s asset tracking products and solution can be used to monitor and manage supply chains for goods and assets. RFTRAQ currently does this both domestically and internationally.
The solution delivers a variety of visible and invisible benefits over Bar Code and Passive RFID systems:-
- You can see where exactly all your goods are in real time i.e. in the warehouse, on a ship, in transit, or when on/in a machine;
- The goods are being tracked automatically, no need to scan them as with bar codes, they are being seen as they sit there in real time without any operator input (manual error is therefore a thing of the past);
- Stock taking can be done by looking at your computer screen, no need to go out and count the goods in a warehouse, so auditing costs can be substantially reduced;
- Delivery errors can be eliminated ….. if tagged roll cages scheduled for delivery to location X are loaded onto a lorry going to location Y, the system will automatically notify the error. This can be done in loading, or it could be done at the front gate. If you wanted to take the system one step further, the system can be used to prevent the gate from opening when it reads the approaching lorry and its contents;

- Full EDI (Electronic Data Interface) on a fully automated basis throughout the supply chain;
